Terms & Conditions

1. General

• These terms apply to all cleaning services provided by Maid 2 Clean NYC,LLC in New York City.
• By booking or receiving services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking & Scheduling

• All appointments must be scheduled at least 24–48 hours in advance.
• A minimum of 2 hours of service is required per booking.
• Same-day or emergency cleanings may incur an additional rush fee.
• Service availability is subject to staff scheduling and geographic coverage in NYC boroughs.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are based on hourly rates or flat service packages agreed upon at the time of booking.
• Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: Square, cash, Zelle, or online invoice.
• Late payments may incur a $25 late fee.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a 50% service charge.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations may be billed at 100% of the service cost.

5. Access to Property

• Clients must provide safe and lawful access to the property.
• If cleaners cannot access the premises (e.g., locked out, no key, no doorman entry), the appointment will be considered a cancellation and subject to fees.

6. Health & Safety

• Our cleaners follow OSHA standards and NYC Department of Health guidelines.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse service in environments deemed hazardous (e.g., mold, infestation, biohazards).
• Clients must inform the Company of any pets, security systems, or restricted areas.

7. Damages & Liability

• While utmost care is taken, the Company is not responsible for pre-existing damages or fragile items not disclosed.
• Liability for damages is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, capped at the value of the service.
• The Company is not responsible for loss of valuables. Clients are advised to secure jewelry, cash, and confidential documents.

8. Quality Assurance

• If the client is unsatisfied, they must report issues within 24 hours of service completion.
• A re-cleaning may be scheduled at no additional charge if issues are valid and within scope of the original service.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy

• The Company respects client privacy and will not disclose personal or property information.
• Staff are trained to maintain confidentiality.

10. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
• Any disputes will be resolved in New York County courts.
